Another work from Sian (sianmcgill.com) one of many she is exhibiting in North Wales (somewhere) through most of August 2019. Uncomplicated English Ash frame with a grey wash that lets the grain show through, mounted with a 35mm border on Soft White.

Everyone’s favorite bear (along with Paddington) An intersting jigsaw of the annuals. Spot the two missing pieces?…..they were found and inserted before framing and glazing.
Swansea Girls Secondary School in the 1960’s. Fond memories for many, especially the pupil who brought it in to us for framing.
This framing work in a molding called White Fest hangs appropriately in this ‘nook’. The customers so liked the result of their placement they sent us a photo.
Kenyan Wedding Apparel. Girl from the UK got married in Kenya and this was part of her dressing. Thousands upon thousands of tiny coloured pieces meticulously threaded. 1150 x 380mm frame size. Lined with cor board to give the needed depth.
This 1500x1000mm poster was a challenge. The customer wanted a thin frame. We managed to get down to a 25mm wide black cushion shape. We should have put up a picture of the system for hanging it which would mean showing the reverse side. (ingenious) Next time we will.
Dylan Thomas, poet and writer from Swansea. This work here seen in a photograph does not really do justice to its intricate nature. It is made entirely of glass.
Made by glass artist Alan Roberts it represents hours of work and attention to detail. The frame we have used was chosen so that there is no distraction from the item.
Poet and Writer.
