We went for six weeks without a drop of rain or any significant wind from the Atlantic. Then on Saturday July 28th, tamping rain, floods and gales. There were occasional periods of respite in the week following and maybe this lovely watercolour from Heather Littlejohns carries a hint of the change in the beach conditions. We only provided a mount for it.
